A sleeping beauty fully awakened — biodynamic Pauillac with the energy of a thoroughbred and the elegance of lace.
Grape Varietals & Region: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, from the 30-hectare estate in the Pauillac AOC, Médoc, Bordeaux, France — classified as a 5th Growth Grand Cru Classé in the historic 1855 classification. The vineyard is divided across three lieux-dits, with parcels next to Château Latour, Pichon Baron de Longueville, and Grand-Puy Lacoste. The subsoils are split between gravelly soils and limestone-chalk, giving the wine its signature minerality. The vineyards were certified organic in 2019 and biodynamic in 2021 — making this the first fully organic vintage, a milestone for the estate.
Taste Profile: A mineral, fruity, and spicy cuvée, with notes of white pepper, eucalyptus, and liquorice — classic Pauillac in every sense. Deep and translucent in feel, the 2019 gradually reveals hints of crushed red berry fruit, mint, spice, rose petal, and orange peel, with an overall energy and aromatic presence that is immediately admirable. Succulent black fruits are braced with tannins and a firm, spicy structure — a dense wine built to age. Rated 95pts by Wine Enthusiast and 95-96pts by James Suckling. Decant for 1–2 hours; peak drinking from 2026 through 2034.
Winemaking Process: Aged in 40% new French oak barrels for 14–18 months, with 20% of the wine aged in amphora — a practice introduced with the 2018 vintage. Only organic and biodynamic treatments are used throughout, with many different plant extracts employed in the vineyard — including oak bark added among the vines to improve tannin quality. The château has also innovated its winemaking process to reduce sulphur additions, maintaining the focus squarely on the grapes and the terroir

Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
