Domaine des Vignes du Maynes "Megamix Vol.2" 2021
Gamay, Pinot Noir and Muscat picked together, fermented together, and bottled as one wine — a field blend the way Burgundy grew grapes before anyone decided varieties should stay in their lanes.
Grape Varietals & Region: Gamay, Pinot Noir and Muscat, co-fermented from old vines on pink granite and limestone soils in Mâcon-Cruzille, Burgundy — parcels farmed organically by the Guillot family since long before "natural wine" was a category, bottled as Vin de France since the blend sits outside appellation rules.
Taste Profile: Cherry, blueberry and pomegranate, lifted by white pepper and a whisper of licorice — juicy and light-footed, with the gentle grip semi-carbonic maceration gives without heavy tannin.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested and co-fermented via semi-carbonic maceration, à la Beaujolais, with no added sulfur at any stage; aged around 18 months in large conical wooden vats before bottling.
Winemaker: Julien Guillot farms Domaine des Vignes du Maynes, under vine since 910 AD and never treated with synthetic chemicals — one of the oldest continuously organic vineyards in France. He works it biodynamically and treats blends like Megamix as an ongoing experiment in how the domaine's old vines behave together rather than apart.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
