Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from Margaret River, Australia. The fruit comes from 50 year old Pinot Noir vines from the Halcyon Vineyard, planted on Karri loam over white clay soil. This was the original block planted in 1978
Taste Profile: A light but complex Pinot Noir. Minimal funk. Structured but quite fresh & good length on the finish
Winemaking Process: 10 days on skins and in barrel for 12 months
Easy drinking red wines with bright fruit aromas and low tannins. The wines are often released without much aging in tank, oak barrels or bottle, and are meant to be drunk early
These wines typically can be nejoyed without food, and are usually served cooler. They can be light bodied wines like Beaujolais, or light extraction styles that do not emphasize tannin & color extraction
