Weingut Esterhazy Blaufränkisch Ried Schildten Leithaberg DAC 2018

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Blaufrankisch from the single vineyard Grand Cru plot of St Georgner, Leithaberg, Austria

Taste Profile: Deep dark garnet, opaque core, purple tint to narrow rim. Fine nougat, a touch of herbs and leather, black forest berries, tobacco and precious wood spices in the background. Juicy, elegant, fresh red cherries, supporting ripe tannins, very well-structured, mineral, long and persistent; has a good future with further ageing potential.
