Partida Creus MC 2019

Partida Creus MC is a cuvée only produced in 2019. So much to love here: stone fruit and floral aromas explode, texture for days. Savoury and earthy undertones with lemon peel and ripe stone fruit flavours. The beautifully fresh and well-balanced palate reveals structure and depth.

100% Macabeu. The fruit comes from a particularly old plot in an abandoned vineyard in Bonastre (Baix Penedès), which has now been ripped up.

10 days on skins. Majority of the ageing occurs in tank, with a small proportion in barrel. No fining, filtering or additives.

Dry & Yeasty Whites

Open tank fermentation, lees stirring, pumping over and racking can all play a role during vinification, while oxidative aging in allows gradual air contact with the wine. Oak barrels & concrete tanks are most often used for such styles, and the more intense styles are often made under flor
