Château Marsyas is the Lebanese estate of the Johnny R. Saadé family. It produces exceptional identity-driven wines. It is located in the Bekaa Valley at an altitude of 900 meters. Cited by Strabo and Pliny the Elder, Marsyas is the ancient name of the Bekaa Valley situated between Mount Lebanon and the Anti-Lebanon
Satyr de Marsyas refers to the single variety cuvée of the Château Marsyas estate. Marsyas, as a satyr, is a mythical being of antiquity who distinguished himself by his absolute devotion to the god of wine.

Taste Profile: The Satȳr de Marsyas is an immediately approachable and friendly style of Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium ruby red in appearance, on the nose you find youthful aromas of black currant, plum, anise, mint and pencil shavings. The palate is medium bodied with fine tannins and tender flavors. On the finish the wine is fruity and refreshing.
Winemaking Process: Stainless steel ferment
Powerful modern reds with the ability to age. They tend to be very intense, with ripe fruit, firm tannins & drinkability either young or cellared.
They often have notes of forest floor, blackcurrant, mint & eucalyptus
