Hameau Toucheboeuf L'Effrontee 2022
The name L'Effrontée literally means 'the impudent one'. So named because the cuvée comes from a single plot that is determined to prove itself despite having experienced two consecutive years of frost resulting in smaller grapes.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne and Cugnette from the Northern Rhone, France. Located in Bessey, a few kilometres south of Condrieu, the vines are planted on the hillside at an altitude of 450 meters
Taste Profile: It feels like biting into a fresh pear, then into a tart whose buttery and caramel taste remains in the mouth. The texture is delightful, with just the right amount of velvety richness thanks to a perfectly measured hint of oiliness.
Winemaking Process: Manual harvest. Spontaneous fermentation. No added sulfites. No herbicides, no mineral fertilisation, no pesticides. Aged in oak barrels, with a small proportion of new wood. Bottled without fining and filtration.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
