Azienda Agricola Cos Maldafrica Rosso Terre Sicilia IGP 2019
Maldafrica denotes an "inner longing for a distant land" and is not love at first sight, but it is one of the most interesting wines of Sicily.
Taste Profile: Maldafrica overwhelms the senses with dark fruits, spices, chopped herbs, salty notes, sulphur, leather and damp tobacco. Its mouthfeel is over a minute long and its acidity provides the perfect amount of astringency to refresh the senses for all its opulence.
Fontane,Vittoria (RG), South-Eastern Sicily. Grown organically on red soil, medium consistency, formed of sub-apennine sands of Pliocene origin, of limestone-siliceous nature, interwoven with compact layers of fresh clay and siliceous sand.
Winemaking Process: Spontaneous in terracotta amphorae, on the skins with indigenous yeasts. Aged in Slavonian barrels and bottle.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
