Grape Varietals & Region: In a region where most properties hardly exceed 10 hectares, Troplong Mondot (founded in the 17th century) expands over 33 hectares, as one of the major estates of Saint-Emilion. Château Troplong Mondot, a First Classified Growth, is considered to be at the top of the Saint-Emilion appellation, with its blend comprising 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon originating from clay-limestone soils.
Christine Valette-Pariente and her husband Xavier Pariente have managed the estate together since 1980 and have achieved excellence through these powerful and finely structured wines.
Taste Profile: Deep scents of tobacco, truffle, leather, and dried herbs, complemented by earthy undertones. A medium-bodied structure with sweet, lively tannins and light acidity. Notes of plum, red and black fruits, and espresso grinds are common in well-preserved bottles. At over 50 years old, it is currently in its tertiary stage of development, offering a savory and elegant drinking experience for collectors

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
