Conde de los Andes is one of the region's most historical names & places in the 17th century, but have long suffered the deterioration of time & neglect. In 2014, the Murua family conducted an ambitious recovery project, renovating the cellar andwinery buildings, cataloging 400,000 bottles in the cellar (with wines dating back to 1892) and tasting through all the historical vintages
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Tempranilo from vineyard plots planted at a high altitude, located in the Vinas de Brinas area between the municipalities of Brinas (Rioja Alta) and Labastida (Rioja Alavesa).
Conde de los Andes is located in Ollauri, a small, old village of just 300 in the heart of the Rioja Alta, with the cellars going as far back as the 16th century as wine caves for a wealthy family
Taste Profile: Clear, intense, bright cherry-red color. Explosive aromatic richness, with flavors of red fruits, ripe plums, and Mediterranean brushwood. Structured, yet fresh, with an attractive, juicy, and persistent finish.
Winemaking Process: The fruity is fermented over 21 days in stainless steel tanks, undergoing daily pump overs & high extraction. The wine then ages for 14 months in French oak barrels, and spends a further 12 months in bottle before release

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
