One of the very first double-matured releases from Jamaica's last fully independent single-estate rum distillery.
Distilled in 2010, this rum was 100% aged at the distillery: first in once-used American white oak ex-Bourbon casks for 8 years, followed by 2 years in Madeira casks, then a further 2 years in ex-Madeira casks for added depth and complexity, bottled at 45% ABV. Dark brown with a tinge of orange, it opens with sweet caramel, a hint of vanilla and lingering spice and oak on the nose, warming and comforting. On the palate, natural caramel sweetness mixes with spicy notes that carry a gentle burn through to the finish, where tropical fruit sweetness interplays with a touch of acidity and a slight closing bitterness.
Worthy Park Estate has grown sugar cane in Lluidas Vale, Jamaica since 1720, with the first record of rum production there dating to 1741 — predating every other Jamaican distillery still operating today. Production halted in 1962 amid a post-war rum oversupply, but the Clarke family, who have owned the estate since 1918, rebuilt the distillery in 2005 and resumed shipping rum in 2007 after a 45-year gap. Now led by fourth-generation director Gordon Clarke, Worthy Park is one of the last fully Jamaican-owned single-estate rum producers on the island.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
