Taste Profile: It’s a pretty rich and spicy style of pinot, with aromatic notes of earth and herbaceouness shining through. The tannins are ever so subtle, just enough to support a beautifully structured wine while at the same time the minerality makes for a drink so refreshing you won’t be able to do anything but recline and rejoice.
Winemaking Process: The fruit are whole-bunch co- fermented for three days before being pressed off into neutral barrel. The barrels are topped with Gewurztraminer. After several months ageing, the wine is racked and bottled without sulphur.
Easy drinking red wines with bright fruit aromas and low tannins. The wines are often released without much aging in tank, oak barrels or bottle, and are meant to be drunk early
These wines typically can be nejoyed without food, and are usually served cooler. They can be light bodied wines like Beaujolais, or light extraction styles that do not emphasize tannin & color extraction
