Cantina Giardino is a winery located in the hills of Irpinia, Campania, that is known for its organic and natural winemaking practices. The winery is led by Antonio and Daniela De Gruttola, who prioritize sustainable and environmentally-friendly winemaking techniques.
Taste profile: Cantina Giardino Sophia Greco IGP 2021 is a white wine made from the Greco grape varietal grown in Campania, Italy. A pale hazy amber, its pure citrus fruit is gently spiced with neat tannins and a long mineral finish adding plenty of intrigue.
Winemaking process: This spent a year on skins in small terracotta amphorae, before being pressed off to acacia and chestnut casks to rest for a further six months
