The XXVI Talhas project pays homage to the age-old tradition of Talha wine production. In Vila Alva, a typical village located in the heart of the Alentejo, there is a great culture and tradition of making wine through this artisanal method

XXVI Talhas Tinto do Tareco 2022

Grape Varietals & Region: Trincadeira, Aragonêz, Tinta Grossa blend from Alentejo, Portugal

Taste Profile: Cherry, plum, herbs and dried fruit on the nose. Rustic, soft wine with subtle tannins and beautiful fruit. Long and elegant finish.

Winemaking Process: Manual harvest, in small capacity containers. Total destemming and slight crushing. Fermented with maceration and contact with the pasta for two months in clay pots, without temperature control and with indigenous yeasts. It has not undergone any filtration or stabilization process. Filtration occurs only by passing the liquid through the masses present in the hoist.

Rich & Jammy Reds

Deep, fruit-driven and jammy; filled with ripe, rich fruit and a plethora of spices. This style is typified by Australian Shiraz, Sonoma Zinfandel and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
