Joschuari comes from The Parents, and is described by the Gut Oggau family as -
From up on the hills where the vines thrive, Joschuari gently rules over everything. His demeanor seems distant, but he is closely connected to the region and the spectacular limestone and slate terroir. It also shapes his character. His path through life has been rocky, but it is full, balanced, with a noble demeanor and passion.
With the warmth and care of a true friend, his greatest wish is for us to be well. To live life as it comes and to focus on the important things. Calm and composed, reliable, committed and full of life. You are swept away by his passion whether you want to be or not and enchanted by his quiet confidence. With every sip you experience the tingling of the senses and more serenity.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Blaufrankisch from vines that are around 35 years old and planted in limestone and shale soils in Burgenland, Austria. Having been abandoned for more than 20 years, the new winemakers were able to certify them as biodynamic straight away
Taste Profile: An intense & structured red, it combines a body that gives maturity with the intensity offered by the rich fruit. It has a complex nose of mineral notes, tobacco and leather. The palate is structured and reveals the freshness of the live fruit. It has a long finish
Winemaking Process: The fruit is partially destemmed and they macerate for 7 months with their skins. Alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts in oak vats. It ages for 20 months in 500-litre oak barrels. Once the wine is made, it is bottled without refining, filtering or adding sulphur

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
