Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Spatburgunder from Rheingau, Germany. A cuvee of various estate vineyards in Rheingau, with the typical loess clay soils. Classified VDP.Gutsweine

Taste Profile: This Pinot Noir gets its distinctive aromas of sweet and sour cherries from strictly selected grapes and aging in traditional barrels. Burgundy style, long finish.

Winemaking Process: Selected fruit is hand harvested, destemmed & crushed for several days before pressing. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel open vats, and is then transferred to small oak barrels for about half a year. After long maturation on lees, it is bottle aged for another year before release
