Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from Baden in Germany.
For those who appreciate natural wines with a focus on terroir, Wasenhaus is a producer that should be on your radar. Their wines offer a beautiful reflection of the Baden region and show that Germany is capable of producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that rival the best from Burgundy.
Taste Profile: The wine presents a translucent ruby color and offers clean aromas of strawberry, raspberry, peony, clove, and earthy notes. On the palate, it is fresh, light, bright, and precise. While the aroma is fruit-forward, the flavor leans more towards spice and herbs, adding complexity
Winemaking Process: The wine is carbonically macerated, then softly pressed and fully fermented dry in the tank. After fermentation, the wine is barreled in a melange of 600L, 500L, and 228L old oak barrels. After aging for about 7-8 months, the wine is released unfined and unfiltered

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
