Vinos López was founded in the 1970s in Epila, Zaragoza, by Abuelo López, who was respected as a pillar in the Epila community, producing wines that are an emblem of quality and authenticity in the Valdejalón region. Today the winery is run by third generation Mario & Antonio, who have taken the winery to a global footprint. The family's vineyards are certified organic, and retain the tradition of manual harvesting.
Based in the Valdejalon PGI, in the center of Zaragoza, Aragon. With 60 hectares of certified organic vineyards, located in Épila at altitudes of 400 to 500 metres, they embrace sustainable viticulture. Their vineyards, with rich and varied soils, are home to carefully selected varieties, focusing mainly on Garnacha, Garnacha Blanc & Macabeo. The old vineyards, over 40 years old, are cultivated in goblet formation, while the younger ones, less than 40 years old, benefit from a vertical axis formation
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Grenache from Aragon, Spain
Taste Profile: Intense cherry red color with violet tones. On the nose it is fresh, intense and very aromatic, with pleasant notes of red and black berries, typical of the variety, with a background of milky notes. On the palate it is a very balanced wine, with a very pleasant mid palate and elegant and delicate tannins.
Winemaking Process: When the grapes reach their optimal phenolic maturity, they are manually harvested in small capacity containers (about 200 kg to avoid crushing the grapes), they are immediately transported to a cold room and remain for 48 hours at 4ºC. of temperature to favor the extraction of primary aromas, after this time the grapes are transported to the winery in a short time.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
