Rainbow's End Limited Release Cabernet Franc 2021

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Cabernet France from a single block planted high on the slopes of the Jonkershoek Mountain that is dedicated to this label. Using a Cabernet France clone that is unique to Rainbow's End

Taste Profile: Deep red in colour. Cedar and Pomegranate on the nose. Ripe red fruit with mulberry, pomegranate and fynbos on the pallet. Rich smooth mouth feel with a lingering complex finish.

Winemaking Process: 12 months ageing in 50% New wood, 25 % 2nd fill and 25 % 3rd fill. (100% French oak ). Two rackings during wood maturation.

Powerful modern reds with the ability to age. They tend to be very intense, with ripe fruit, firm tannins & drinkability either young or cellared.
