Description

Domaine Gerard Peirazeau et Fils Morey-Saint-Denis Rouge Les Craies 2022

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from Morey-Saint-Denis in Burgundy, France

Taste Profile: On the palate, notes of red fruits (raspberry, cherry), fresh earth with a lovely minerality and well-integrated oak. A fruity, structured wine with a lovely balance and finesse.

Winemaking Process: All fermentations are conducted with indigenous yeasts. Vinifications are handled with care, featuring relatively brief macerations and limited pige age. Afterward, the wines are racked by gravity, aged in French oak barrels. Once barreled, the wines remain untouched for approximately 18 months in the family's cool cellar, without any racking. Before being bottled using natural cork, a light filtration is performed
