A brambly, boysenberry-driven Zinfandel from the estate that helped define Russian River Valley as its own appellation.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Zinfandel, predominantly from the younger vines of the BCD Vineyard and Slusser Vineyard, with smaller amounts of older-vine fruit from the Saitone and Boschetti ranches — all certified Sonoma Sustainable, in California's Russian River Valley.
Taste Profile: Noticeable brambliness, with baked plum, blackberry and boysenberry aromas. Full-bodied, with great yet balanced acidity, dense tannins and perfect structure. Lively flavours of black cherry, toasted peaches, violets and a hint of pepper make for a real attention-grabber.
Winemaking Process: Small-lot processing for this delicate, terroir-driven variety, fermented in French open-top wood barrels using organic, biodynamic and sustainable techniques. Ages 13 months in 15% new French oak.
Winemaker: DeLoach Vineyards was founded in 1975 by Cecil and Christine DeLoach, who discovered the Russian River Valley's rare dry-farming potential and championed the appellation on their labels years before it earned official AVA status in 1983. Since the Boisset family took over in 2003, the estate has farmed organically and Biodynamically, carrying that same minimal-intervention philosophy through every wine in the range.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
