Châteauneuf's best-kept secret from across the river — same stony soul, same family hands, half the fanfare.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 20% Cinsault from the Lirac AOC, on the right bank of the Rhône, directly west of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Estate vineyards are located near the villages of Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres and Saint-Geniès-de-Comolas, with a selection from some 12 parcels on soils that are sandy, with flint and galets roulés — large quartz stones. In recent years, the estate has expanded its holdings into the Lirac appellation, which Châteauneuf families increasingly consider as an appellation of comparable quality to their own
Taste Profile: Aromas of black cherry, red plum, raspberry, baking spice, and wild herbs lead onto a medium-bodied palate with suave tannins and a fresh finish. A juicy yet elegant wine, with a fruity nose of blackberries and red fruit aromas that reminds us of the Rhone's remarkable richness, concentration, and depth
Winemaking Process: Grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed, then fermented on indigenous yeasts in cement tanks. The wine is aged 95% in large foudre and 5% in older French oak barrels, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. This minimal-intervention approach is a hallmark of the house, preserving the honest expression of the Lirac terroir without cosmetic treatment

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
