Anselmo Mendes Parcela Unica Alvarinho 2020

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Alvarinho, from a single vineyard plot in Vinho Verde. Old vines are planted in granite soils

Taste Profile: Made from a single vineyard that produces a crisp and unique grape, Anselmo Mendes Parcela Única reveals fruit, acidity and minerality in perfect harmony thanks to its barrel aging. A gastronomic Alvarinho with great balance and minerality.

Winemaking Process: After a manual harvest, the Anselmo Mendes Parcela Única grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. The resulting must is cold clarified and then fermented in 400-litre French oak barrels for 9 months with periodic batonnage.

Lush & Tropical Whites

Succulent stonefruit with a citrus backbone characterises these wines. Typically, they have notes of tropical fruit, and come from warmer climates. A touch of oak during the winemaking process also helps to give some softness to the wine.
