Luigi Bosca La Linda Old Vines Malbec 2024
Over a century of Arizu family winemaking, distilled into an easy-drinking, old-vine Mendoza Malbec.
Grape Varietals & Region: Malbec from vineyards averaging 30 years old, located in Luján de Cuyo and Maipú, Mendoza, Argentina, at an average altitude of 960m.
Taste Profile: Deep red colour with violet highlights. Intense aromas of wild berries and fresh spice lead into a straightforward, expressive palate of ripe fruit with a pleasant smoky aftertaste from oak ageing. Juicy, with fine tannins and a balanced finish carrying the hallmarks of old vines.
Winemaking Process: Hand-picked in clusters, then destemmed before fermenting in stainless steel tanks at a controlled 28°C with selected yeasts. Part of the wine matures in American oak barrels for 8 months before light filtration at bottling.
Winemaker: Luigi Bosca was founded in 1901 by Don Leoncio Arizu, who arrived in Argentina from Spanish Basque Country at age seven; his family had been making wine in Unzué since the 18th century. Arizu partnered with a Piedmontese winemaking family, the Boscas, to plant vines of European origin — lending the winery its name. Still led by the Arizu family today, in its third and fourth generations, it remains one of the few major Argentine wineries to stay in its founding family's hands.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
