Born and raised in Ribeira de Santarém, Hugo Mendes studied Biotechnological Engineering but his passion for wines spoke louder and since the 2006 harvest he has dedicated himself entirely to oenology. A lover of communicating art to consumers, he is a regular presence on social media. Since 2008, he has been feeding a blog dedicated to simplifying oenology for oenophiles. He became a producer in his own name in the 2016 harvest, having carried out the first crowdfunding, in Portugal, to finance a wine.
