Spier Signature Chenin Blanc 2024
An acidity lively enough to win over even the most hardened Sauvignon Blanc loyalist.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chenin Blanc from trellised and bush vines on Spier's Stellenbosch estate, South Africa, grown across a combination of alluvial, well-drained soils and decomposed granite from the mountain foothills, farmed organically without fertilisers, chemical pesticides or herbicides.
Taste Profile: Crisp and fruity, with fresh flavours of guava, pear, apple and a hint of lychee. Pale yellow with green shades, this well-balanced, versatile white finishes with real power and pairs well with most food.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested, destemmed and lightly crushed before pressing, with brief skin contact. The free-run juice settles in tank overnight, then individual block selections are racked off the lees and inoculated with selected yeast strains. Fermented and matured in tank under controlled temperature to preserve the fruit, resting a further 3 months on fine lees for extra body and elegance in this unoaked white.
Winemaker: Spier is one of South Africa's oldest working wine farms, established in 1692 and guided since 1993 by the Enthoven family, who have led its restoration and push toward organic, regenerative farming across the Stellenbosch estate.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
