A wine that keeps sweetening with age, made by a South African négociant who treats old vines like rare manuscripts.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Mourvèdre from old, certified vines across South Africa's Western Cape, sourced under Naudé's négociant model of hand-picked old-vine parcels.
Taste Profile: Rich and full-bodied, with a strong line of acidity keeping the sweetness balanced and drinkable at any point in its life. The 2014 vintage came from the earliest harvest in decades — a warm, dry, windy summer that accelerated ripening by roughly two weeks and delivered exceptionally healthy fruit.
Winemaking Process: Naturally sweet and built to age for many years, with the sweetness never fading and, if anything, deepening over time.
Winemaker: Naudé Wines is the work of Ian Naudé, whose winemaking career began almost by accident on his father's dairy farm, which happened to include a few vineyards. After years apprenticing across both hemispheres and a long stint at Adoro Wines, Ian launched Naudé Family Wines in 2018, working as a négociant across old-vine parcels in Swartland, Stellenbosch, Koekenaap and beyond — always chasing vines certified by South Africa's Old Vine Project.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
