Grape Varietals & Region: The Mullineux Kloof Street Chenin Blanc 2022 is a stunning white wine from the Swartland region of South Africa. Made from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes.
Taste Profile: This wine is a beautiful expression of the varietal. It offers aromas of green apple, pear, and white peach, with a touch of honey and spice. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing, with bright acidity and a subtle mineral character. The wine is unoaked, allowing the fruit to take center stage, and it finishes with a long, clean, and elegant finish.
Succulent stonefruit with a citrus backbone characterises these wines. Typically, they have notes of tropical fruit, and come from warmer climates. A touch of oak during the winemaking process also helps to give some softness to the wine.
