Tomikawa is a small sake brewery in Yaita City, Tochigi prefecture. The brewery was founded in 1913 by Mr. Echigo Mori and releases sake under the main brand "CHUAI".
They believe that local sake is a local food culture. They aim to make sake that is particular to their brewery by manufacturing products so they take advantage of the ingredients' characteristics.Â
They strive to inherit the traditions and culture of the region through the provision of sake. The sake is produced at the hands of brewers who continue to protect traditional sake production even today. Each sake is carefully brewed individually with small preparations. Since inheriting the brewing techniques of Mr. Echigo Mori, their goal is to make sake that customers say "it has become delicious again".
