Chateau Chizay is a winery located in the heart of the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains, in the small village of Chizay. Founded in the early 1990s, Chateau Chizay has quickly become one of the most highly regarded wineries in Ukraine, producing a range of high quality red, white, and sparkling wines.
Their vineyards are found in the unique terroir of Transcarpathia, with the best soils, mostly of volcanic origin, southern hillsides and mild climate, which allows not to use artificial watering

- Chersegi Fuszeres; a grape that grows only at Chateau Chizay, it's rich bouquet is full of aromas of flowers and summer fruits, producing aromatic white wines that are bright, fruity and spicy, with delicate bitterness, apricot tones and refreshing acidity
- Blaufrankisch; a grape that also grows in Austria & Hungary under various names, it produces The aroma is complex, with tones of violet, black currant, cherry, blackberry and light shades of spices
