Loess Blanco Rueda Verdejo 2022

Grape Varietals: 100% Verdejo from the Rueda DO of Castilla y Leon, Spain. Vineyard planted in terrace form on the river Duero in 1998, without irrigation and with special soils composed of sand, pebbles, clay and limestone

Taste Profile: Loess Verdejo 2022 is an effervescent white wine that encapsulates the quintessence of youthfulness. Its bouquet enraptures the olfactory senses with a mélange of stone fruits such as apricot, enhanced by an undertone of verdant freshness and a whisper of fennel and hay. Upon tasting, it unfurls with a velvety texture and a well-rounded disposition, sustaining a commendable harmony that beckons another taste. This Verdejo is a reflection of nature in its most unadulterated and fragrant manifestation.

Winemaking Process: The grapes macerate in stainless steel deposits at a temperature controlled below 8ºC. Once pressed, the fermentation takes place, also in stainless steel deposits. Once finished, the wine rests on its lees for a while with regular battonage (lees stirring) to finish refining.
