Description
Franklin & Sons Ginger Beer
Franklin & Sons Ginger Beer is a Great British classic. The ginger is brewed for a week with malted barley, extracting the rich flavours of ginger root. Immediate spicy warmth gently builds before a squeeze of zesty lemon balances the taste. This brewed ginger beer also makes for the perfect mixer with a higher carbonation level to bring out the best in the finest spirits.
Ginger root is steeped before being blended with the signature combination of Staffordshire spring water and British sugar beet.
This recipe takes inspiration from the original ginger beer developed by the Franklin brothers back in Victorian Britain, which was sold in stoneware urns and lovingly adored by Londoners of the time. To deliver the deepest flavour possible and a superb building heat, the ginger is brewed with malted barley for five days halted just before the sugar turns into alcohol. A squeeze of lemon is then added to create a wonderfully refreshing serve.
Franklin & Sons has been the forefront of innovation since the Victorian era. This ethos is continued today through carefully constructed recipes that combine exceptional ingredients that each undergoes a unique process. Each recipe only ever uses natural flavours, extracts and colours and never includes sweeteners or preservatives.
Taking inspiration from the founding brothers, Franklins has continued its search for quality by sourcing the finest ingredients, hand-picking them at their best. Franklin & Sons use local fruit, roots and herbs, to ensure they support British agriculture where possible and provide the finest tasting drinks.
With something for every occasion, they have a range of tonics and mixers, sparkling soft drinks, infused sodas and ready-to-serve alcoholic drinks.
