Nuestro De Diaz Bayo Verdejo 2023

For more than 10 generations, the family of Díaz Bayo devoted themselves fully into cultivating the best vineyard for wine production. Production of Díaz Bayo’s wines are carried out using both traditional and innovative methods, without nasty chemicals and synthetic fertilisers. They provide consumers with wines that are made using the most natural methods that best reflect the characteristics of the terroir.

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Verdejo from Rueda, from the plots of El Pinar, Los Almendros, Los Guindos. The vines average 20 years old, and are grown on clay-calcareous soils at an altitude of 700 meters.

Taste Profile: Bright straw yellow, with a citrus driven aromas, accompanied by white flower & a slight ripe banana fruit. Elegantly textured with ripe, white peach and melon with threads of fresh, fennel herbs. Finished mineral with notes of apple & pear

Winemaking Process: The fruit is hand picked, and is then de-stemmed before undergoing fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is matured on lees for a couple months to give it additional texture & weight
