Weingut Diwald Riesling Fuchsentanz 2022
Inspired by the German expression which directly translates to “where Fox and Rabbit say goodnight”, this refers to a remote place, much like Wagram from the general Austrian wine growing region.
Grape Varietals & Region: This extremely drinkable Riesling hails from a gravelly site and a loess-rich Southern slope. The fruit comes from 2 sites that are vinified separately & blended
Taste Profile: Fuchsentanz is a beautiful composition of cool and warm elements: the gravelly soils lend it citrusy & gunpowder notes whereas the loess contributes apricot aromas. Some years, the wine has a touch of residual sugar, but in principle it is a dry Riesling with high acidity, meant for drinking pleasure.
Winemaking Process: Grape bunches are hand-picked and then pressed whole in order to conserve the lean and delicate character of the wine. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, and the wine is left on the lees until bottling for 6-8 months.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
