Grape varietal & region: Copain Tous Ensemble Pinot Noir 2018 is a beautifully crafted wine made with grapes sourced from several top vineyards in Mendocino County, California. This wine showcases the complexity and elegance of Pinot Noir with a balance of fruit, acidity, and tannins.
Taste profile: The wine has a bright ruby color and aromas of cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate, with a hint of earthy forest floor. On the palate, it is juicy and vibrant, with flavors of red fruit, black tea, and a touch of savory herbs. The tannins are silky and well-integrated, leading to a long, smooth finish.
Winemaking process: Winemaker Wells Guthrie has a minimalist approach to winemaking, allowing the grapes to speak for themselves. The grapes are fermented with native yeasts and aged in French oak barrels for 10 months, adding subtle notes of vanilla and spice.
Easy drinking red wines with bright fruit aromas and low tannins. The wines are often released without much aging in tank, oak barrels or bottle, and are meant to be drunk early
These wines typically can be nejoyed without food, and are usually served cooler. They can be light bodied wines like Beaujolais, or light extraction styles that do not emphasize tannin & color extraction
