Les Vignes de Paradis Chasselas Marin has a lean and stoney character. Lightly honeyed and creamy on the palate with tropical fruit and zingy citrus notes over a steely mineral backbone.
100% Chasselas. The fruit comes from Les Vignes de Paradis' organic vineyardson the shores of Lake Geneva, in the Haute-Savoie wine region. The vineyards have granitic soils, which add a lean and stoney character to the wine.
Fermentation in concrete eggs and demi-muid barrels.
From the limestone character of Sancerre to the green, herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc of Marlborough, this style group often shows off cut grass and wet stone. Often associated with coastal regions or limestone based terroir, these wines are characterised with crisp acidity, mineraiity, citrus tones, with a hint of grassiness
