Barbeito Delvino Reserva Dry 5 Years is a remarkable fortified wine from the esteemed Madeira producer, Barbeito. This wine showcases the artistry and dedication of the winemakers, resulting in a dry Madeira of exceptional quality and character.
Grape Varietals & Region: Barbeito Delvino Reserva Dry is crafted primarily from the Tinta Negra grape variety, which is prominent in Madeira. 80% Tinta Negra 20% Sercial, also known as Arinto. Tinta Negra Grapes from various quality vineyards located in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and São Vicente and Sercial from Jardim da Serra.
Taste Profile: This dry Madeira offers an enticing array of flavors and aromas. Pale gold in color, it has hints of dried fruit, pistachio, citric and fine herbs. It finishes with a clean and persistent, long fresh finish.
Winemaking Process: Barbeito Delvino Reserva Dry undergoes a meticulous winemaking process. Grapes were pressed in a pneumatic press. Arresting of fermentation takes place at the desired degree of sweetness by adding vinic alcohol (96%). Tinta Negra and Sercial aged in French oak casks for 5 years by Canteiro method. For this blend we selected wines from our warehouses with stable temperatures year round that originate a very well balanced wine in sugar and acidity.
