Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Beichun, or known in Japan as Hokujun from Yamagata, Japan
Taste Profile: Bright aromatic notes of cranberry & strawberries, with a slight herbal undertone. On the palate, it has a light body with bright acidity, giving it a slight effervescence. Light tannins & short to medium finish
Winemaking Process: The fruit is crushed & fermented on skins for 60 days, with frequent battonage to induce malolactic fermentation.
Easy drinking red wines with bright fruit aromas and low tannins. The wines are often released without much aging in tank, oak barrels or bottle, and are meant to be drunk early
