Located in the Tsugaru Region of Aomori, Matsumidori Brewery, the creator of Matsumidori, Rokkon, Reiho, and Deka, has won numerous awards. With respect to the historical background of the brewery, the current brewers continue to faithfully maintain our dedication to traditional techniques and craftsmanship. Their values include the careful use of limited natural resources and the relentless pursuit of reliability, safety, and health.

They are committed to passing on the delicious flavor of authentic SAKE, made using traditional methods that don't rely on machinery, to future generations. Specifically, their policies are to use as much of the whole rice grain as possible, as their ancestors did, thus preserving its natural flavor; to conserve fuel by using efficient production processes; to ensure reliability, safety, and health by using all natural ingredients; and to avoid getting swept up in the trends, instead continuing to provide the same timeless flavor of Japanese SAKE.
Although these policies can, at times, require them to invest several times more labor and time than would otherwise be necessary, they are committed to following traditional SAKE brewing.
Finally, by using groundwater from the Shirakami Sanchi Region and Mount Iwaki and rice from Aomori, and by putting these ingredients through a strict production process, they create a product that could only be made in their brewery in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture.
The goal is unchanging: to create sake that offers unexpected delight on top of unmistakable consistency, and a sense of nostalgia arising from the simplicity and depth of flavor.
