Celler Ardèvol is a small family-owned winery in the prestigious Priorat region of Spain. The winery is run by brothers Josep and Albert Ardèvol along with Roser Amorós.
Artisans of Priorat, the Ardèvol family has been growing vines in the village of Porrera since the 13th century. Up until the late 1990s, Josep Ardèvol’s family were selling off their high-quality grapes to the Mas Martinet winery. In 2000, they decided to start up their own cellar. As the years have passed, they now produce about 35,000 bottles produced from 10 hectares of vineyards spread over three properties, and use the services of popular enolog consultant Roser Amorós.
Directly carved on the rock, the old family cellar is placed in the basement of one of the oldest and most picturesque country houses in the village.
