Testalonga Baby Bandito Keep on Punching 2024

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chenin Blanc from Swartland, South Africa. Planted in 1961, dry land bush vines, farmed organically. It is a 4-ha block of Chenin planted on the sandstone soils of the Piketberg foothills on the way to Redelinghuys. It’s their oldest block of Chenin vines on soils that lie adjacent to a river, this provides enough water throughout the growing season

Taste Profile: Pear, peach and apple on the nose while the palate is well balanced – quite broad with moderate acidity

Winemaking Process: 60% in stainles steel and 40% in large 3000l foudre

Lush & Tropical Whites

Succulent stonefruit with a citrus backbone characterises these wines. Typically, they have notes of tropical fruit, and come from warmer climates. A touch of oak during the winemaking process also helps to give some softness to the wine.

Expect notes of peach, apricot, pineapples, melon & a buttery texture
