Peter Lauer Faß 2 Ayl Riesling Trocken 2021

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Riesling, from slate slopes in Ayl, Saar, Germany

Taste Profile: Tapas, salted almonds, and parmesan on the table. In addition, our mash-fermented N° 2 offers a grippy, slightly melty texture. Exciting nutmeg notes fill the warm bouquet. It is a full-bodied and mildly acidic but – with ambient yeasts – dry-fermented wine with only 2 g/l residual sugar. A wine that cuts a fantastic figure with strong or salty-spicy dishes.

Winemaking Process: The fruit is mash fermented & undergoes wild yeast fermentation, followed by barrel ageing on lees

Aromatic & Floral Whites
