Description

Peter Lauer Faß 17 Neuenberg 2021

With a south-to-southwest exposure, Neuenberg is historically one of the most important sections of Ayler Kupp. “Neuberg” was already described in Ayl on the tax map from 1868.

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Riesling from a south-west facing Grand Cru plot on the slopes of Ayler Kupp. The vines average 34 years of age

Taste Profile: Mineral, dense, fruity, and with infinite length on the palate. A great dry-tasting wine with a lot of aging potential.

Winemaking Process: Whole bunch pressing, followed by maceration with wild yeast & spontaneous fermentation. On lees ageing in larged wooden barrels for 5 months
