The Côte de Nuits (named after walnut trees) is home to 24 Grand Cru vineyards and some of the world’s most expensive vineyard real estate.
The Grand Cru vineyards form a patchwork on the eastern slopes facing the valley of the Saône River, starting at the village of Gevery Chambertin, past Morey St-Denis and south to Vougeot and Vosne Romanée.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from the Les Chaignots premier cru vineyard of Nuits Saint Georges, Burgundy
Taste Profile: This terroir in the north of the appellation generally produces wines of great finesse. This is the case here, delicately bouquetd around blueberries and violets, round, suave and with good fullness on the palate, supported by silky and soft tannins. A “nights of pleasure”.
Winemaking Process: Their wines age in Merrain French oak barrels for 18 months and our vintages contain from 25% to 100% new barrels depending on the appellation. The exact percentages are not disclosed
From Barolo to Bordeaux, these wines are steeped in tradition. The style covers a broad spectrum of flavor profiles, but tend to be elegant and structured and can be cellared for a long time.
These wines often have savoury tones of earth, bell pepper, tobacco, cassis, and are often medium to full bodied, with long finish & structured palattes
WINES FROM UNIQUE REGIONS & BOUTIQUE WINERIES
Founded in 2019, we were bored with the typical Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Amarone & Moscato offerings at most bars & restaurants, and were inspired to dive deeper into the wine world!
