Maurice Gavignet Monthelié les Sous-Roches 2017

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from the Monthelié appelation

Taste Profile: The color is a beautiful ruby red. The bouquet is divided between small red and black fruits and floral notes. With age, they will shift to undergrowth and spices. It shares with Volnay the image of a feminine wine. Velvety and quite firm, its flesh rests on fine tannins

Winemaking Process: Their wines age in Merrain French oak barrels for 18 months and our vintages contain from 25% to 100% new barrels depending on the appellation. The exact percentages are not disclosed
