Lumen Escense Pinot Gris 2021 is a delightful wine that exudes an expressive nose of apple, peach, and honeysuckle, followed by a palate of citrus and mineral notes. The wine is made from grapes grown in the cool climate of the Santa Maria Valley in California, where the combination of sunshine and cooling ocean breezes creates perfect growing conditions for Pinot Gris.
The winemaking process involves the use of whole-cluster pressing, which gently extracts the juice while minimizing the extraction of tannins and phenolics. The juice is then fermented in stainless steel tanks at a cool temperature, which preserves the delicate fruit flavors and aromas. The resulting wine is fresh, vibrant, and perfect for pairing with a wide range of dishes
