Description

Domaine Le Fay d’Homme Muscadet Clos de la Fevrie Orthogneiss 2022

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Melon (Muscadet) from the Loire Valley, France. Vineyards lie on a bed of stony, and siliceous-clay soil. Grapes are chosen from a selection of old vineyards

Taste Profile: Clear light yellow with a hint of gold. Ripe apples and pears, some bready and mineral notes. Grown on fused volcanic rock, this wine brings intense minerality as well as plenty of fruit. The vines, grown biodynamically, have produced an intense wine that has taut acidity and ripeness

Winemaking Process: Light settling and long fermentation (21 days) with indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged on lees for 6 months in underground cement tanks
