A Chianti Classico Riserva made with Sangiovese grapes, produced in a single vineyard of 2 hectares worked and fertilized with geese. These creatures naturally fertilize the land, they eat the grass between the rows and the insects harmful to the vine, acting as natural protectors for the soil
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Sangiovese from Chianti Classico in Tuscany, Italy. The vines are grown on hills with limestone, rock & clay.
Taste Profile: Intense ruby red with purple reflections. The nose is intense & persistent with blackberry & currant scent. On the palate, good structure, freshness and minerality, soft tannins with an excellent persistence
Winemaking Process: The fruit is vinified in stainless steel, and malolactic fermentation occurs on concrete tanks, before ageing for 24 months in second & third fill oak tonneaux. The wine is bottled & aged for another 12 months before release
