Grape Varietals & Region: Made from a block of Cinsault vines which were grafted to a former Semillon patch at neighbouring Lennon Vineyard in 2013
Taste Profile: Brilliant ruby in hue, the nose is cherry starburst with notes of blood orange zest, ginger, nutmeg and white pepper. The palate is medium bodied, crunchy cranberry-like acidity, well-balanced and vibrant and the finish is clean and refreshing; laden with interweaving cherry, ginger and white pepper notes
Winemaking Process: Vinted from hand selected fruit and placed in an open 2 ton fermenter for 2 weeks. Wild yeast did their job and then it all was gently basket pressed and sent to veteran French hogsheads for 7 months
Easy drinking red wines with bright fruit aromas and low tannins. The wines are often released without much aging in tank, oak barrels or bottle, and are meant to be drunk early
These wines typically can be nejoyed without food, and are usually served cooler. They can be light bodied wines like Beaujolais, or light extraction styles that do not emphasize tannin & color extraction
WINES FROM UNIQUE REGIONS & BOUTIQUE WINERIES
