A skin contact Gruner that started out as a fun experiment

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Gruner Veltliner from the Altweingarten vineyard of Wagram in Austria. 

Taste Profile: Butterscotch, spice, lemon peel and a broad, textured palate give this great depth and complexity. 

Winemaking Process: The must macerates for almost 2 weeks on skins, followed by a year of ageing in old French oak barrels. There is no finening or filtering and the addition of sulfur is minimal
